GRADUATE STUDENTS!

ASME has organized the Early Career Technical Conference (ECTC) as a forum for mechanical engineering graduate students and early career engineers to develop their technical credentials and to establish their professional identity. ECTC occurs in conjunction with SPDC.

You can take an active role by presenting your in-progress or near-completion research work. Participating will allow you to practice your presentation skills in front of students and other faculty, who will provide friendly and constructive criticism on how to improve your work.

Practice makes perfect! Why not present in front of your fellow peers before presenting your work at national and international conferences?

What separates YOU from the other candidates? ECTC will help you develop the skills that employers and engineering managers are looking for!

***BONUS: Also note that there will be a $100 honorarium for each author/presenter and a cash prize for the best paper in each session!!!

View attached file for conference information.

Contact ME, Merlen de la Garza if you are interested in participating and with any other questions you may have!
